Chair Steelhead Committee, Seattle, 1988-1998; director Save our Wild Salmon, Seattle, 1989-1997, Steelhead Society British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, since 1990.  Founder of the Wild Salmon Center in 1992, and Board member emeritus.  Founder of Wild Salmon Rivers and The Conservation Angler in 2003.
